Great Gatsby Collection

The Roaring 20s was an exciting time with women breaking a lot of the rules.  We have all heard the term "flapper" and a general visual image comes to mind: young women with bob hair cuts, drop waistlines, and cigarettes.  There were a few popular trends including the boxy, flat chested look, headbands, scarves, and uneven hemlines.  Gone were the days of tight, restrictive corsets as the ladies of that era wanted to dance and move freely.  With a fabulous recreation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic, The Great Gatsby (starring the ever so good looking Leonardo DiCaprio...doesn't he just get better with age??), we wanted to showcase our little collection inspired by the 1920s.

First, let's take a look at some classic 1920s ladies...

As you can see, the The Great Gatsby fashion includes a lot of emphasis on the hair accessories.  Sparkly headbands and scarves were a popular trend...
